An Improved Numerical Model of Flyback Converters Considering Parameter Tolerance for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles

2019
The system reliability and working performance of the DC/DC converters are bound up with the parameters tolerance in the early-design stages of power electronic system for fuel cell automotive applications. In this paper, an improved numerical model of the flyback circuit is proposed which comprehensibly considering the transformer, resistor, and integrated circuits (ICs) parameters tolerance. Moreover the possible working states are deduced based on this model at length. Then the probability density distribution model can be established when the parameter tolerance is taken into account, and the performance degradation and system fault condition can also be obtained. Finally, a simulation and experiment are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model.
