Del concepto de ciudadanía: una aproximación teórica

Resumen Pensar la ciudadania y la democracia es asunto comun, no solo en la academia, sino en los Estados mismos y en todos y cada uno de los ciudadanos que los constituyen. El presente estudio se propone un acercamiento teorico al concepto de ciudadania adelantado por el grupo de Investigacion en Desarrollo Humano de Humanidades (GIDHU) en la linea de Estudios Politicos. Este abordaje recurre a la reflexion ofrecida por reconocidos intelectuales que, desde la economia, la filosofia y la pedagogia amplian la discusion hacia la ciudadania planetaria, para presentar los retos que implica la formacion de ciudadanos para el mundo actual. Abstract Thinking about citizenship and democracy is a common subject, not only in the academy, but in the States themselves and in each and every citizen who constitute them. The present study proposes a theoretical approach to the concept of citizenship disclosed by the group of Investigation of Humanities (GIDHU) in the line Democracyand Citizenship. This approach resorts to the reflection offered by recognized intellectual who, from the fields of economy, philosophy and pedagogy extend the discussion towards the planetary citizenship, to present the challenges that imply the formation of citizens for the current world.
