Performance analysis of double-axis orientating Low Concentration Photovoltaic Systems

The output of a photovoltaic module can be increased through different techniques, and the concentration of solar radiation is one of them. Consequently, a low concentration system was designed considering the double-axis orientating modules of the photovoltaic power plant of the ENERED’s research platform within the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania. The performances of the obtained LCPV system were analyzed in terms of power output, operating temperature, and efficiency losses due to the increase of operating temperature.
