Inhabiting and living on the northern border of Mexico, represents a whole host of experiences and trajectories that residents assume when arriving or staying in it, conditions that are somehow taken up in their daily lives, where feelings, emotions, ways of seeing their colony or subdivision corresponds to the social, cultural and urban worlds that are built in every corner of city life. History, society, territory, physical environment are some of the elements that intertwine when dwelling is analyzed, and its relationship with imaginaries, architecture, social relationships, which allow linking their experiences not only of living in the city, but also those that are related to the mechanisms of thinking about it, population, age groups, permanence, housing are other factors that are considered in the study of social and ethnographic experiences that recur in a border town as represented by Ciudad Juarez. In this context, the visions that are had in the daily lives of the residents of this city in the north of Chihuahua allow us to see the action frames and the space where it is carried out, the place acquires an element of symbolism and representative emblematic in the transfer of forms of thought and specific tasks that are derived within their inhabiting and the imaginary that emerges in the daily tasks of their inhabitants. The methodological strategy used in this study is based on a phenomenological approach of considering the resident as an actor who lives, occupies and thinks the territory where he sits to recognize his main ways of visualizing his immediate and close environment, in order to represent him through of their conversations via interview, as well as non-direct observation through field trips, the location of their space (cartography) and the portrait of the place where it takes place (photography) which allows us to describe, explain and interpret the main events of a social, ethnographic and urban nature related to the imaginary of the place.
