A Review on Enhancing the Electrocatalytic Performance of Pt/C Cathode Catalysts for PEMFC

The Pt/C catalysts are popularly used in proton exchange membrane fuel cells. As the oxygen cathode reduction reaction shows great polarization, it is necessary to enhance the performance of Pt/C catalysts, reduce the cost and improve the voltage output of fuel cells. This paper reviews the progress in enhancing the electrocatalytic performance of Pt/C catalysts.
