The individual scientific practice model assumes that science, its foundation, practice, and application are learned in the appropriate process of doing science. The teachers’ board of the Master in Research in Educational Psychology Applied to Education (MIPAE) analyzes the program as a systematic activity oriented to training researchers in psychology as knowledge applied to the educational field. The logical functions are emphasized covered by language in the analysis of knowledge for the design and application of students’ research projects. It is recognized that, in its origins, the curricular design of the MIPAE was based on an academic tradition centered on the method, as a formal abstraction of knowledge. The transference from this conception to one in which priority is given to the psychological dimension of scientific work and the development of psychology as a science, with emphasis on its application, has been a permanent activity.
