The Relativity Mechanical Research between the Intervertebrae on the Back Shu Acupoints

Objective Study the mechanical relation between two back shu accupation which have external-internal relationship. Method The relative data obtained from MRI and computer temography scanning, were transmitted into computer to build the spinal model. With the help of software of the finite element analysis(ANSYS), the mechanical experiment was conducted.The relativity research was investigated between the two acupoints, which interrelates exteriorly and interiorly. The adjacent intervertebral discs were chosen as the contrast. Result No matter in the single force trial or in the double forces trial, the experimental results suggest that relations between the two relative acupoints were significantly distinguished from the relation between the intervertebral discs. In addition, we could also conclude the equivalency, the equiponderance of stress distribution, and the thorough linear regression relation between the two acupoints. Conclusion This experiment revealed the interior relations between the two acupoints, which interrelates exteriorly and interiorly. This principle could provide a guildline in the development of the clinical treatment on the aspects of Acupuncture, Massage, Ostedogy and Fraumatology.
