A Remark on the Monetary Integration of China-ASEAN Region

Monetary integration of China-ASEAN region is an inexorable historical trend,as well as an important guarantee to promote economy and trade development of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area(CAFTA).To realize the monetary integration in the area,we must accelerate the construction of CAFTA,establish bilateral interchange and re-purchase agreement between China and ASEAN,set up regional exchange rate mechanism and early risk warning system etc,and finally move towards regional monetary integration from financial cooperation.
