A modified Broyden-like quasi-Newton method for nonlinear equations

Abstract In this paper, we introduce a modified Broyden-like quasi-Newton method for solving nonlinear equations, which is an acceleration version of the Broyden-like method presented by Li and Fukushima (2000). We show that the proposed method has global and superlinear convergence properties. We report some numerical results to show its efficiency.
