Investigation of Applicability of Heat Exchange Gas for Cooling of Programmable Josephson Voltage Standard Chip

Thermal management of programmable Josephson voltage standard (PJVS) chips is important for their stable operation. The applicability of a heat exchange gas to thermal management has been investigated. The finite element analysis showed that the temperature reduction of the PJVS chip due to the gas conduction was approximately 1 %.
