Qualitative analyses and safety recommendations based on actual experience of problems form an indispensable basis for safer plant operation. For safety-related questions, statements which more accurately take into account the actual state of operation, are however often necessary. The object of the current work in a research project is to provide solutions to these problems in a form which takes into consideration the requirements of actual plant operation and thereby contributes to more reliable prevention of faults.
