Diálogo dos saberes na formação superior de tecnólogos em Agroecologia, turma Ticuna de Umariaçu, Tabatinga (AM)

2020
Indigenous peoples have legal support in demanding to the University of the State of Amazonas for specific courses. In attendance to the Ticuna people, the most numerous in Brazil, the University offered in 2015 the course of technology in agroecology to the ticunas of Umariacu, in Tabatinga. This paper seeks to highlight the paths followed by the faculty during the teaching-learning process, adapting the pedagogical project with the use of dialogical strategies that started from Ticunas’ knowledge, including participating research projects on cultural trails, shifting cultivated plots (“rocas”) and Ticuna food. The results show the appreciation of Ticuna culture, intergenerational dialogue and the exchange of experiences with students of indigenous schools.
