Synthesis of metabolically blocked paclitaxel analogues

The stereospecific syntheses of the metabolically blocked 6-α-F, Cl, Br paclitaxel, and 6-α-F-10-acetyldocetaxel are described and in vitro and in vivo activity is presented.
