Study on application of biochemical genetic markers for breeding Xingguo Grey geese.

Analysis of Xingguo Grey Goose' s blood biochemical indexes,egg production and 70-day-old weight showed that the genetic markers of early indirect selection is Serum Alkaline Phosphatase Actiuity,amd the genetic markers of 70-day-old weight is the relative content of serum albumin.Moreover,these markers were applied in Xingguo grey goose breeding,it achieved better choice effect in the practical application,and increased the laying rate and the 70-day-old weight by 10% and 6.8% respectively.This proved that it is feasible and effective for the early indirect selection using biochemical genetic markers.
