Designing a Full-time Masters Programme for a Culturally Diverse Student Population

Summary This case study is based upon the process of developing a masters level programme, aimed at the international student, and the evaluation of its first run-through. Research and academic experience into international student learning supported the decision to move away from the traditional design towards a more innovative, themed curriculum structure, the better to meet the needs of a diverse cultural group. Evaluation at completion of the inaugural programme indicated successful results from the both students’ and the course team’s point of view of; only minor adjustments to the programme were indicated.
