Potencializando a construção de conhecimentos em sala de aula: o ensino de geografia por meio de história em quadrinhos

This article presents reflections on the need about geographical concepts in a meaningful way when promoting lessons for children.  In this sense, the main objective of this research was to reflect on the contributions to children's learning when addressing geographical concepts linked to Comics. To this end, this eminently qualitative research was based on the precepts of collaborative research and action-research. The research data showed that the Comics chosen and worked make it possible for children to significantly learn about facts and geographical phenomena, representing a facilitating strategy to approach geographical concepts that are part of the students' daily relationships, demonstrating their contributions to the process of teaching, learning and knowledge production.
