Effect of ZnO Thin Layer on the Properties of Bulk Heterojunction Organic Solar Cells

The effects of insertion of ZnO thin layer on organic solar battery performance with P3HT∶PCBM for active layerswere were studied,because of the influence of ZnO reactive functions PCBM conducive to close to the transmission and electronic ZnO low HOMO plays the role of block cavity,thus balance electronic and cavities transmission;In the active layer and Al electrodes between insert 3 nm ZnO thin layer as the cavitation linings and electronic choice layer,making battery efficiency of conversion increased from 2.65% to 3.45%.Bcause ZnO thin layer could improve the active layer internal light field intensity distribution,the active layer absorption was further strengthen,thus the purpose of improving efficiency was achieved.
