Study on the Floatation Test of a Refractory Copper Oxide Ore by Multi Stage Vulcanization

The floatation test research of a copper oxide ore in Yunnan province was carried out.The results showed that copper concentrate of Cu 16.25% with a recovery of 78.08% was obtained by a circuit of one rough floatation and two scavenging with using sodium carbonate as regulators,butyl xanthate as collectors,pine oil as frothers and adding three stages of sodium sulfide.The test copper recovery was better than the situation of the plant.
