Towards an Energy Efficient Architecture in Smart Building

Reducing energy consumption within buildings has become a focus of researchers. This paper looks modern buildings as a cyber-physical energy system and provide a three-layer architecture with the focus on energy saving. We introduce the key technologies from sensing, computation and controlling aspects, besides with highlighting some issues for consideration.
