Primary Synovial Sarcoma of the Anterior Chest Wall: a Rare Entity at Unusual Location—Case Report

The synovial sarcoma is a malignant soft-tissue tumor that most commonly occurs in the extremities of young adults. The chest wall’s primary synovial sarcoma is extremely rare, and only a few cases of the synovial sarcomas of the chest wall and pleura have been reported. Surgery is the mainstay of the treatment with adjuvant chemotherapy, and radiotherapy plays a significant role, especially in the larger tumors. Here, we report a very rare case of the synovial sarcoma of the anterior chest wall in a middle-aged gentleman and discuss the management and poor outcome despite the aggressive treatment.
