Mathematical Modelling of Alzeihmer Disease

2018
Alzheimer is one of the most prevalent brain disorders which destroy memory. It is irreversible and most common form of dementia. Major challenge is to structure a model that keeps in site the variability of brain structure. Many Mathematical models have proposed for the same which are valid in disease interpretation. Three type of Mathematical model has discussed in this paper. The first model establishes a computational approach for using hidden Markov Model modeling for early detection of Dementia. Second model presents dynamic network by rate equations which involve multiple pathway and crosstalk between neurons, microglia and astroglia. The third model represented by set of partial differential equations which include reactions and changes among tau protein, neurons, astrocytes, microglia, macrophages as well as amyloid β aggregation. These models are attempts to examine Alzeihmer disease.
