System level evaluation of Silicon imager based see-through Silicon application

Modern semiconductor fabrication defect inspection technologies always pursue high defect capture rate, low false defect rate and low cost. These three factors are constrained by systematic resolution and throughput. Resolution is proportional to defect capture rate and inspection platform cost, inverse proportional to false defect rate. Throughput is the fundamental limiting factor for inspection operation cost.
