Diagnosis and Analysis of Abnormal Heat for Gas Insulated Metal-enclosed Switchgear

In order to achieve the safety and reliability running of gas insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS), the abnormal heating types, detection methods and judgment basis are proposed by combining with the abnormal heating problem and application practice of infrared thermal imaging technology. The abnormal heating fault of GIS are researched and summarized such as the circuit breaker, disconnector, disc insulator bolt and shell grounding, etc. The abnormal heating reason of different parts are analyzed according to the related testing data, record of diagnostic test results and disintegration, and give out the processing scheme. The corresponding typical atlas are established, it provide a reliable data for cause and type of failure for the GIS equipment.
