The magnetic aftereffect in alloys of samarium with cobalt and copper

Results of the investigation of the investigation of the domain structure and magnetic aftereffects in the high coercive alloy SmCo/sub 3.5/Cu/ sub 1.5/ were reported. In the demagnetized state on the base surface of particles with a diameter of 0.1 to 0.5 mm, a simple structure of domains with antiparallel orientation of the magnetization was observed. The typical dependence of the critical field under which magnetic reversal of monocrystalline particles was initiated on the magnetizing field was shown. The studies showed that the process of reverse magnetization of small crystals of SmCo/sub 3.5/Cu/ sub 1.5/ in the high-coercive state proceeds in dependence on the size of the external magnetizing field.
