On 5 stage S-type acceleration/deceleration control model based on improved genetic algorithm

To satisfy the need of high precision numerical control machining, the 5 stage S-type acceleration/deceleration control model is proposed, and the model is established under two conditions of without considering transient acceleration and transient speed and considering the startup acceleration and the transient speed respectively. In order to obtain an optimal speed curve, the control model is solved by the improved genetic algorithm which is a new control algorithm for real-time processing and optimization. The acceleration/deceleration control model is applied to the engineering example, and the results show that the speed curve is in good agreement with the actual project practice. The experimental result proves that the control model is effective.
