Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for transmitting synchronization signal of unlicensed carrier, a base station and a storage medium. The method comprises: a base station configuring a transmission pattern for the Discovery Reference Signal (DRS); the DRS transmission pattern including at least one of the following parameters: time parameter, frequency domain location and composition parameter; and transmitting the DRS on the basis of the configured DRS transmission pattern to enable the DRS to have periodicity and/or persistence, or aperiodicity and/or persistence.
