Single-DMD based solid-state volumetric true 3D display

2010
True 3D display can provide more depth cues to viewers. Different from the 3D display developed by Light Space Company, a single-DMD based true 3D display consists of a UHP lamp, a color wheel, a hollow integrator, a relay system, a DMD, projection lens, folder mirrors, 20 LC shutters, and several control circuits. The speed of the color wheel and circuits are required to be very high. The final luminance is 237cd/m 2 . The color gamut is 69.7% of the NTSC standard and the color temperature is 5407K.
