Enhancements of luminescent properties of CaTiO3: Dy3+,Pr3+ via doping M+= (Li+, Na+, K+)

2020
Abstract A series of phosphors CaTiO3:Dy3+,xPr3+ (x = 0-3mol%) and CaTiO3:Dy3+,0.1mol%Pr3+,yM+ (M+ = Li+, Na+, K+, y= 1-7mol%) were synthesized via combustion method. The results indicate that the incorporation of Pr3+ reduced the luminescence intensity of Dy3+ slightly, but it adds a red emission. Meanwhile, the best concentration of Pr3+ is 0.1 mol%. In order to enhance the luminescence intensity, Li+, Na+ and K+ are selected to incorporate into CaTiO3 host. It is compared the comprehensive property which includes photoluminescence intensity, the CIE coordinate and correlated color temperatures. It concluded that Li+ is better doping substance than Na+ and K+ ions in CaTiO3:Dy3+,0.1mol%Pr3+. It also calculates some spectroscopic parameters via judd-ofelt theory based on the optimal charge compensator phosphor.
