Effects of vacancies in the Hubbard models on several chains and ladders
1999
The effects of vacancies (i.e. chargeless and spinless impurities) in the Hubbard models on several chains and ladders are studied; these latter are simple and dimerized chains, and standard and zigzag two-leg ladders. Local electron numbers and local magnetizations near the vacancies are evaluated by the quantum Monte Carlo method.
