Circulating water drainage device and household appliance

The invention provides a circulating water drainage device which comprises a pump shell provided with a flow-in chamber by which water flows in and a flow-out chamber by which water flows out, a motor which is provided with an impeller and connected with the flow-out chamber of the pump shell, a circulating pipeline communicated with the flow-out chamber, and a drainage pipeline communicated with the flow-out chamber, wherein the impeller of the motor is mounted in the flow-out chamber. The circulating water drainage device is characterized in that a mobile switch element is arranged in the flow-out chamber of the pump shell; under the action of outer force, the switch element moves from a first position where the circulating pipeline is closed to a second position where the drainage pipeline is closed so as to open the circulating pipeline, or moves from the second position where the drainage pipeline is closed to the first position where the circulating pipeline is closed so as to open the water drainage pipeline. Therefore, in a water circulating process, the drainage pipeline is closed by the switch element, and water only flows out through the circulating pipeline; in a water drainage process, the circulating pipeline is closed by the switch element, and water only flows out through the drainage pipeline, so that a washing machine has both water circulating and drainage functions under the cooperation of one pump shell and one motor; the structural design space in the washing machine is saved, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
