A system (100) material handling to move silicon powder from a storage device to a furnace (150), the system comprising: a counterrotating feeder (3) feed by twin screw extending from the device storage to the receiver; the counterrotating feeder advance by twin screw comprising: an outer member (4) by feed screw; an inner member (5) forward worm gear; the outer member being positioned forward worm gear in a tube (8) of the external feed member worm; the inner member being positioned forward worm gear in a tube (9) of the internal feed member worm; placing a tube (6) processing the counterrotating feeder advance by twin screw in a material handling orientation with the storage device and receiver; wherein the material (2) is fed from the storage device to the receiver via the external feed member worm; internal feed member removes gas worm and by the receiver; wherein the outer member (4) screw feed end comprises a hollow feed member for screw with a central bore therethrough, the inner member (5) of advance being positioned by worm in central hole; and characterized in that: the outer member (4) feed worm gear, the inner member (5) forward worm gear, the tube (8) of the external feed member worm and the tube (9 ) internal feed member worm are formed of a ceramic material, the ceramic material selected from the group consisting of Si3N4, SiC, Al2O3, Si, SiO2 and combinations thereof.
