"Moerckia flotoviana" (Nees) Schiffn.: In the Iberian Peninsula and Pyrenees

espanolSe da a conocer el hallazgo de Moerckia flotoviana por primera vez en Espana (Asturias) y en la Cordillera Cantabrica. Este hallazgo propicio la revision de la presencia de M. hibernica en Andorra, la unica cita previa del genero conocida en la Peninsula Iberica, lo que permitio asignar las poblaciones andorranas tambien a M. flotoviana. Ademas, se ha recopilado los datos de la distribucion conocida del genero en la cordillera pirenaica. EnglishThe first report of Moerckia flotoviana in Spain (Asturies) and the Cantabrian range, is presented. This finding triggered the revision of the presence of M. hibernica in Andorra, the only previously known report of the genus in the Iberian Peninsula, which has also been revised and assigned to M. flotoviana. Additionally, data on the known distribution of the genus in the Pyrenean range are compiled.
