Afectividad, cognición y conducta social

1993
Affect, cognition and social behaviour. This article reviews current sociopsychological models on affect, cognition and social behaviour. Affect as an internal cue or indirect informative model (Bower et al.), affect as information or direct informative model (Schwartz et al), affect as a determinant or the style of information process (Fiedler et al.) and affect linked to motivational proceses. Theoretical discussions and the review of the results obtained from different studies allow us to conclude that the more heuristical models are non propositional and affirm the specific functions of emotions.
