Static output-feedback stabilisation for discrete time-delay systems

This paper studies linear discrete-time systems with constant time-delays. By the Abel lemma-based finite-sum inequality, a stability criterion for linear discrete time-delay systems is given. And a criterion for static output feedback (SOF) controller design is proposed. Then two algorithms are established to solve the SOF gain matrices. One is an initial value optimization algorithm (IVOA) based on the cone complementarity linearization (CCL) algorithm. The other is the improved path-following method (IPFM), which is built to find the SOF controller with the initial values generated by IVOA. A numerical example shows the effectiveness of our results.
