Observation of Toxic Clinical Symptoms and Pathomorphology of Oxytropis glacialis to Goats

To study the toxic clinical symptoms and pathomorphology of Oxytropis glacialis to goats,twenty goats were fed with 10g/kg·w Oxytropis glacialis through the permanent rumen fistula each day,to observe the clinical symptoms of all the goats.After the distinct clinical symptoms appeard,the goats were anatomized and the pathological changes of the parenchymatous organs were observed.The results showed that the low-grade clinical symptoms of the goats appeared from the fifteenth to eighteenth day,the critical symptoms appeared from the thirty-third to thirty-ninth day.The liver,spleen,cerebrum,cerebellum,pulmo and kidney appeared distinc extent vacuolar degeneration and the cerebellum was more evident.
