Research on the integration development of tourism industry from the perspective of all-for-one-tourism: Chengdu Plain Economic Zone as an example

2021
All-for-one-tourism is an important way for the coordinated development of tourism industry. Based on measuring the comprehensive development level of eight cities in Chengdu Plain Economic Zone, Sichuan Province, China, the coupling coordination degree model is introduced to measure its “tourism-economy-society-environment” coordinated development. The results show that the comprehensive development level of Chengdu is far ahead of that of the other seven cities, and the coordination degree of the eight cities is not very different, and the four dimensions of tourism, economy, society and environment within each city are at the same level of development. The coupling coordination index of the eight cities is lower than 0.3, which is in the antagonistic stage, indicating that the four dimensions of tourism, economy, society, and environment in the eight cities have little interaction in the process of development, and the depth of tourism development in the whole region is insufficient.
