Data transmission method, station, access point and access controller

Disclosed are a data transmission method, a station, an access point and an access controller. The data transmission method comprises: transmitting a joint transmission indication frame to at least two access points, wherein the joint transmission indication frame is used for indicating the at least two access points to transmit the same data by means of the same time frequency resource; and receiving the data transmitted respectively by the at least two access points by means of the same time frequency resource using the same encoding method according to the joint transmission indication frame. In the embodiments of the present invention, a station initiates access point coordination, and multiple coordinated access points are indicated to simultaneously transmit the same data to the station using indication information. In this way, in a wireless local area network system, a coordinated transmission technique for multiple access points can be realized, i.e. the multiple access points use the same time frequency resource to transmit the same data to a station. In the embodiments of the present invention, by means of receiving multiple pieces of same data, the intensity of a received signal can be improved, so as to provide the reliability of data transmission.
