Sintesi di limonoidi appartenenti al pathway biosintetico della limonina e dei 7α-acetilati

By simple procedures six limonoids, commercially not available, belonging to the biosynthetic pathways of the limonin and of the 7a-acetate were synthetized. In particular, limonol and limonyl acetate were prepared from limonin and obacunone, 7a-obacunol, 7α-obacunyl acetate and deacetylnomilin were generated from the nomilin we have prepared. The products were purified and characterized by thin layer chromatography (TLC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and electrospray mass spectroscopy (ESI - MS). In this work. we demonstrated that these six synthetic limonoids are quickly obtained by simple and fast method with good yields of reaction.
