HEATS OF FORMATION OF ALLOYS. Final Report, November 1, 1958-October 31, 1961

The general study of the factors which influence the thermodynamic properties and atomic bonding of alloys was continued mainly by direct calorimetric measurement of the heats of formation of representative alloy phases. The accomplishments of this study of a wide variety of alloy bonding problems have been reviewed mainly by reference to previous technical reports and published papers which have been submitted. Lists are given of the technical reports, published papers, and graduate theses resulting from this research, and of the scientific personnel employed. (auth)
