The invention discloses a novel thermal management component of a lithium ion battery, which comprises a first heat conducting plate (1) and a second heat conducting plate (2) which are arranged in parallel at intervals, wherein the first heat conducting plate (1) is positioned right in front of the second heat conducting plate (2), and the lithium ion battery (7) is arranged at the front side of the first heat conducting plate (1); and a plurality of heating plates (5) are arranged between the first heat conducting plate (1) and the second heat conducting plate (2). The novel thermal management component of the lithium ion battery can carry out heating management and cooling management on the lithium ion battery, so the lithium ion battery can be adapted to high temperature and low temperature environments, the environmental adaptivity of the lithium ion battery is improved, the battery can be enabled to work at normal working temperature all the time, accordingly, the whole working performance of the battery is ensured, and the lithium ion battery has a longer service life and stability, and is enabled to be safely used.
