Photometric orbit of VZ CYn and the variation of its light curve

A total of 928 photoelectric observations of VZ CVn was obtained in yellow and in blue light during the 1971 and 1972 seasons. Some variations in its light curve were detected and are discussed. Nine epochs of minima were obtained and from these improved light elements were derived. The light curves were analyzed and consistent geometric elements for the system were derived from each light curve. (auth)
