Effects of Re-Entry Position to the Hemodynamics in Type-B Aortic Dissection

2018
Aortic dissection (AD) is one of the most complicated cardiovascular diseases. In recent years, computational fluid dynamic (CFD) has been increasingly applying to study the hemodynamic. In this study, the effects of the re-entry tear in different position to hemodynamic parameters were investigating by using the CFD methodology. The results indicated that the reentry tear position could affect the critical position of zero DP (PFL-PTL), and the percentages of flow entering the false lumen via the primary tear could be altered when the re-entry close to the initial tear, which may affect the growth of false lumen.
