Shuri hoogen no intoneeshon

Intonation of the Shuri-Ryukidialect was analyzed with reference to question, syntactic structure, focus, and emotion. Among these, syntactic structure and focu showed most consistent correspondence with intonation and the intonational characteristics showed resemblance with those of Tokyo Japanese.
