Calculating Minimal Failure-causing Schema Based on Relational Tree Model Method

2020
The combinatorial testing technique can detect software faults caused by interactions of different factors (input parameters), by using a small number of test cases. After a fault was detected, its corresponding minimal failure-causing schemas should be identified to help fix such a fault. In this paper, we propose an approach to calculate minimal failure-causing schemas based on the relational tree model. Such an approach could calculate the minimal failure-causing schemas without generating additional test cases. Case studies show us that the proposed method could identify minimal failure-causing schemas effectively and efficiently.
