79-1: Invited Paper:Optical Measurements of Different Near-Eye Display Types

Different near-eye display technologies set special requirements for the optical measuring methods and measurement systems. Display device properties with the most influence are display field-of-view, size of exit pupil, and whether the display is monocular or binocular. Experimental measurements are reported for three different near-eye display types.
