Radiation of an airborne patch array antenna

2013
Microstrip array antennas are widely used to meet the requirement of communication nowadays. While the number of the unknowns of microstrip array antennas is so large, especially when they are placed on an airplane, that it is a little difficult to get their radiation. Attributed to the advantage of parallel higher order MoM, we can solve this problem. In this paper, the parallel higher order method of moment (MoM) is employed to analyze the radiation of a 9*1microstrip patch array antenna placed on an aircraft. The numerical results indicate the parallel MoM can solve these kind problems which have a large number of unknowns correctly. (4 pages)
