Gestación subrogada: aspectos éticos

espanolLa gestacion subrogada es un tema controvertido en bioetica y se ha convertido en uno de los asuntos a tratar en la agenda politica espanola. En especial a partir de dos de documentos que analizan su posible legalizacion: “Propuesta de bases generales para la regulacion en Espana de la Gestacion por sustitucion” (documento creado por el Grupo de Etica y Buena Practica Clinica de la Sociedad Espanola de Fertilidad) y el “Informe sobre los aspectos eticos y juridicos de la maternidad subrogada” (hecho por el Comite de Bioetica de Espana). Este articulo tiene como objetivo analizar los aspectos eticos que rodean la gestacion subrogada. Para ello, ademas de los documentos mencionados, se han revisado articulos publicados entre el 2012 y el 2017 para rescatar los principales puntos a favor y en contra de esta practica. EnglishSurrogacy is a controversial matter in bioethics and has become one of the issues to be addressed in the Spanish political agenda. Especially since the appearance of two documents that analyze the possible legalization of surrogacy: “Proposal of general bases for the regulation in Spain of surrogate pregnancy” (a file of the Group of Ethics and Good Clinical Practice of the Spanish Fertility Association) and the “Report on the ethical and legal aspects of surrogate motherhood” (done by the Spanish Bioethics Committee).The aim of this article is to analyze the ethical aspects surrounding surrogate pregnancy. In order to do it, in addition to the aforementioned documents, it has been revised articles published between 2012 and 2017 to rescue the main points in favor and against this practice.
