Non-Stationarity and Offset Coherence Information in Geomagnetic Applications

The assumption that we are dealing with stationary processes can lead to missing significant information which could improve analysis. In this paper we discuss the estimation of a dual-frequency coherence and focus on a coherence analysis of magnetic field measurements. We find that high coherence values exist at non-zero offset frequencies.
