MOLECULAR INTERACTION BEHIND THE TOXICITY OF LEAD CONTAMINATION

2014
One of the most hazardous elements present in the earth is Lead. In the early times, the use of lead was huge in number. When the issue of adverse effect is profused, the use has been reduced day by day. These changes have come into light due to the change of the policy regarding its use However, in the developing countries, as the alternative are not taken into account, lead is still present in large concentration and people living in the surrounding, especially the children are greatly affected by it. The effect in most of the cases is chronic and some of them culminate in the later stages of the life. Several awareness had been done in some of the developing countries. However, since due to not having enough evidence, the necessary steps are not implemented. The review article would help to know the events at the molecular level causing the toxicity of the victim exposed to lead. Furthermore, it will also give a overview of the condition of lead exposure in the developed countries and the developed countries. Most importantly, the article would emphasize on the comparative analysis of the work done in terms of the molecular event that are taking place due to lead exposure. This will broaden the horizon and give the readers and the policy makers’ reasons to implement the necessary policies in order to reduce the lead contamination day by day even in the developing countries.
