Research on RTX-based Real-Time Signal Generator in the Engineering Flight Simulation Platform

The engineering flight simulation platform is a platform which is used to testing new aircrafts. Real-time signal generator is an important component part of the flight simulation platform. It provides a variety of excitation signal for the Physical parts of the new aircrafts' platform, and plays an important role in the testing of aircraft components. The poor instantaneity of the Windows operating system brings signal generation uncertainties, and affects the signal fidelity. This paper introduced the RTX real-time technology, studied series of key technical questions which need to be solved in process of designing the RTX-based real-time signal generator., designed the driver for vmipci5565 reflective memory card used in the RTX, the algorithm for windows process communicate with RTX process, and the signal generator for users. The results show that the introduction of the RTX real-time technology enhances the fidelity of the signal obviously, improves the overall performance of the flight simulation platform in engineering.
